Carlisle Brass European DIN DLX Lift to Lock - Square
Carlisle Brass European DIN DLX lift to lock with grade 304 stainless steel 22mm wide square forend and anti-rattle striking plate (with black boxed keeps), with stainless steel roller latch and deadbolt; is suitable for domestic and commercial projects.
This Carlisle Brass lift-to-lock is ideal for toilet doors when used in conjunction with their Lift-to-lock handle release set. To lock the door from the inside, simply lift the lever. To unlock and exit, depress the inside lever. This design makes it a perfect solution for accessible toilets.
The strongly sprung lift to lock has a backset (distance from edge of door to handle/cylinder) of 60mm both with 20mm throw deadbolt and is suitable for un-sprung lever handles and with 8mm spindle bar follower.
The distance between the centres of the handle and WC set is 72mm which aesthetically when viewed on a door is less cramped than conventional UK locks. This lock also has a "grip-tight" follower that eliminates the wobble that can be felt when operating the lever handles with other makers locks.
This Grade X (EN12209) Lift to Lock is CE and UKCA Marked and conforms to European standard EN12209:2003 Classification 3X810G2BC00 and conforms to the dimensional characteristics of DIN 18251, Third party accredited using the UL-EU safety mark and comes with a 10 year mechanical guarantee.
Approved for use on 30/60/120 minute timber and 120/240 minute fire rated doors when used in conjunction with available intumescent packs.
