Carlisle Brass Eurospec DIN DLX Radius European Cylinder Escape Lock - 60mm
Heavy duty DIN European mortice strongly sprung europrofile cylinder escape lock case with two-piece 22mm wide radius forend and anti-rattle striking plate (with black boxed keeps), with stainless steel reversible latch and 22mm single throw deadbolt; suitable for domestic and commercial projects.
This cylinder escape lock has a backset (distance from edge of door to handle/cylinder) of 60mm and 86mm case depth; suitable for unsprung lever handles and euro-profile cylinders; supplied with split lever handle spindle.
The door functions as a standard sashlock however if the deadbolt has been locked via the europrofile cylinder, a single depression of the internal lever handle retracts both the latch and deadbolt for immediate egress/escape.
The distance between the centre of the lever handle and cylinder is 72mm which aesthetically when viewed on a door is less cramped than conventional UK locks. This lock also has a "grip-tight" follower that eliminates the wobble that can be felt when operating the lever handles with other makers locks.
This escape lock is CE Marked and conforms to European standard EN12209:2003 Classification 3X810G2BC20 and conforms to the dimensional characteristics of DIN 18251 and comes with a 10 year guarantee.
Approved for use on 30/60/120 minute timber and 120/240 minute fire rated doors when used in conjunction with available intumescent packs.
