JNF Fixed Dead Unit
Stainless steel fixed dead unit is used when you want to fix a handle on a door so that it does not operate or move like a normal one would on a door. For example, if you have a set of double doors and you want to put handles on both, as only one can operate, you use this to fix it so the one that is not operating the latch or lock does not move and you are not relying on the screws to hold it in place.
Alternatively, if you want to fix both handles on a pair of doors and you are not using the latch or lock but using a roller catch to hold them closed you would use two of these which would then act as pull handles but look like door handles - very simple but effective.
